The Fringes - On the Radar - June 29

Harm Signals - Embrace Extinction

Release Date: July 9

Moving quickly from a recent split EP with CutOutMyTongue, Harm Signals’ upcoming EP is four tracks of brutal noise drone. While no melodic content is present, the album is filled with distorted vocals buried under the crushing wave of noise, squelches, and electronic screaming. Not for the faint of heart. Currently available for pre-order with one track available for listening.

Petite Victory Collective - Minimal Cit’s Vol. 1

Release Date: July 2

A sublime compilation of predominately minimalistic tech and house tracks, this upcoming album from the Petite Victory Collective label is a bit surprising with its heavy incluison of field recordings throughout. You‘ll hear the sounds of traffic, children playing, birds chirping and other environmental noise alongside smooth and relaxing house beats and basslines. Currently available for pre-order with five tracks available for listening.

Live on Acid - Disco Evolver

Release Date: July 9

This upcoming release is technically a single with two alternate mixes of the track. It’s built around a crafted vocal sample from the “Disco Sucks” rally and sounds like something not quite for a dance floor, but maybe it could be with a stripped back beat and acid house sensibilities. Currently available for pre-order with one track (not the original mix) available for listening

Rhombus Index - ‘Planar’ EP

Release Date: July 9

This upcoming release on See Blue Audio is an odd concoction of evolving synths and subtly utilized field recordings that creates something that sounds introspective and even playful at times. It also seems to exude a certain kind of warmth that is not often heard in this variety of abstract electronic music. Currently available for pre-order with one track availbe for listening.

Fabio Battistetti - Gerbido

Release Date: July 1

This forthcoming release on the No Thank You Recordings label gives off an extremely minimal vibe. From what can be heard in the preview, the album seems sparse and on the quieter side. Filled with pings and strange oscilations, there is an odd energy here that is simultaneously erratic and calming despite the quiet chaos present. Currently available for pre-order with one track available for listening.

Owrang - Ging Zik Loop

Release Date: July 1

Another upcoming release on No Thank You Recordings, this release only consists of one very long track. The basis of this track is to create an audio representation of the Ging Zik, a symbol of the revitalization of nature through the change of seasons. The track it self is truly an experience to be heard on headphones as you hear the tones bouncing back and forth, alternating between fast and slow. Currently available for pre-order with a snippet of the track available for listening.

Oberlin - Schlafaus und Schlafein

Release Date: July 2

An upcoming self-release, this album promises to be an atmospheric experience in low fidelity. The primary components here are a gentle piano playing sometimes indiscernible lines, a warm hiss of analog tape, and occasionally a strange sound of unknown origin. The result is a unique feeling of floating in a warm and nostalgic haze that envelops you slowly. Currently available for pre-order with two tracks available for listending.
