Released in late February, UK-based artist nowhere wood's latest single "sun's glaze" is a fantastic work of acoustic guitar-based ambiance. The sound overall is drenched in reverb that seems to vary in intensity throughout the track, ranging from subtle and natural to intense and slightly overpowering. Moreover, this reverb is accompanied by an equally varied delay that shifts between short and long in a manner that makes the track feel like is on some kind of spring that is compressing and expanding, seemingly randomly.
The mood of this track is quite serene. But it can also be somewhat unsettling as the delay and reverb coincide with one another in a way that borders on cacophonous. Regardless, the overall feeling is not overridden during these parts and is an excellent track for rest and reflection.
